“I’m saved” is a Christian phrase. And it usually refers to being saved from a life separated from God after we die. And it’s our key to making it to Heaven. And it is that! And that’s a HUGE blessing! It’s a gift!! It’s the absolute best gift that God could ever give us! And God believed in His gift to us so much, that He sent Jesus to die for us, so we could have it!
Jesus bought our salvation so He could gift it to us. IF we ask for it. And did you know that our salvation is more than just keeping us out of hell?
The word “salvation” comes from the Greek word “soteria” which means “wholeness, deliverance, victory, prosperity, health, and welfare (blueletterbible.org). In Hebrew, “salvation” is “Yshuwah”. Yshuwah means deliverance, victory, prosperity, health, and welfare (Strong’s Concordance definition 03444).
The Bible has a beautiful word behind some scriptures and that word is Selah. The amplified version of the Bible teaches us that “Selah” means to “pause and think calmly of that!”.
So when we say, “I’m saved”, here’s what we’re saying:
Jesus died so we can go to Heaven when we leave this earth.
Jesus died so we can have a life that’s whole.
Jesus died so we can be delivered from the sin and evil within this world.
Jesus died so we can have a life that’s victorious.
Jesus died so we can have a life that’s prosperous.
Jesus died so we can have a life that’s healthy
Jesus died with our welfare in mind. That everything we have need of is provided for.
Your salvation is the key to an abundantly rich and blessed and full life both now and forevermore. Selah!
Be Blessed And Have a Fantastic Day!
